The Land of Love

It has been awhile since I wrote my last post. I hope you are doing well. I have been busy preparing for my first Art Residency in April while juggling with all other things in life. As always, all I hope is that I have more time.

Nonetheless, something happened on Saturday, though it is something small, I really hope to share with you.

I was at Walmart lining up for the cashier, I was the second one in line. He was holding a bottle of engine oil and he looked like he was in a big hurry. The lady in front of me said to me: “I don’t mind letting him go first if you don’t mind.” I said: “Absolutely not!” and we let the guy go first. The lady then said to me: “I know how it feels.” I was so touched by her actions and her words “I know how it feels”. If only we all put ourselves in other’s shoes and feel what others feel, this world could be “the land of love” that we all long for.

Then on Sunday, a new song was suggested to me on youtube that I'd love to share with you: Take The World Apart by Yusuf / Cat Stevens

(...)

I’ll make the world give up Until it leads me to the land of love I’ll go any length to see it Tunnel under the Colosseum, I will
